Here's a great link:

I'm studying the poetry of Sergei Esenin. What's terrific about it is that nearly all his poems have been turned into songs by various Russian singers over the years. So you can usually find both spoken word and song versions. Songs help you with memorization. This link has a ton of his poems as mp3 songs. All FREE and appear to be very good quality. Excellent resource.

Slovio - Slavic Answer To Esperanto
Ran across this today and thought it was interesting:
http://www.slovio.com/
Apparently there is a Slavic version of Esperanto. Sort of a universal way for people familiar with or speakers of Slavic languages to talk to each other. An interesting idea I wonder how popular it really is??

Tips On Rolling French R's
It took me forever to learn how to roll a French r. I looked at all those diagrams, practiced all those boring, god awful exercises and still couldn't get it. Then I started singing along to Edit Piaf one day imitating her r's and voila I've been able to do it ever since. So my tip for the day is if you want to roll that French r get some Edith Piaf songs (available in practically any bookstore and all over the web) and sing along with her. You don't have to know the words, just imitate her rolled r's and you will be amazed how quickly you pick it up.
