Tips On Rolling French R's

It took me forever to learn how to roll a French r. I looked at all those diagrams, practiced all those boring, god awful exercises and still couldn't get it. Then I started singing along to Edit Piaf one day imitating her r's and voila I've been able to do it ever since. So my tip for the day is if you want to roll that French r get some Edith Piaf songs (available in practically any bookstore and all over the web) and sing along with her. You don't have to know the words, just imitate her rolled r's and you will be amazed how quickly you pick it up.
